Danielle’s passion for supporting underserved populations shines through in her work. She has a rich background working with children, adolescents, and adults, reflecting her broad and versatile skill set. One of her outstanding attributes includes facilitating support groups, providing a haven for individuals to share their challenges and seek communal healing.
Education has always been a cornerstone of Danielle’s journey. She is currently advancing her academic prowess at Capella University, pursuing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Before this, she honed her foundational understanding of human behavior by attaining a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the esteemed University of Central Florida. Her expertise is further augmented by a Certificate in Behavioral Forensics, equipping her with unique insights into the complexities of human behavior.
Her experience is as varied as it is impactful. Danielle has touched lives in different capacities – from shaping young minds as a Second Grade Teacher at the Renaissance Charter School at Boggy Creek, where she went beyond the curriculum to establish a teacher support group, to her intensive case management roles at Aspire Health Partners. Here, she seamlessly integrated her skills in assessing and referring clients with mental health and substance abuse issues to the right channels of aid.
Danielle’s commitment to mental health is also evident from her tenure at Devereux Advanced Behavioral, where she worked in a group home environment catering to men with autism and challenging behavioral patterns. Here, she played an instrumental role in teaching life skills and modifying adverse behaviors, making tangible differences in the lives of her clients.
Furthermore, as a Guardian Advocate Intern at the Mental Health Association of Central Florida, Danielle undertook the pivotal role of safeguarding patients’ rights during involuntary treatment phases, underlining her deep-seated commitment to her clients’ well-being.
